Colorado High School Basketball - Denver East ripped by Berthoud
February 9, 2023: Berthoud, CO 80513 The Berthoud Spartans basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Denver East Angels to 30 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Resurrection Christian for a contest on Saturday, February 11. Berthoud will meet a Cougars team coming off a 58-45 league win over Sterling (Sterling, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 13-2.
The Angels (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against George Washington (Denver, CO). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, George Washington was routed by Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO), 75-44, in a non-league contest.
