Louisiana High School Basketball - Albany holds off Collegiate
February 9, 2024: Baton Rouge, LA Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Albany Hornets (Albany, LA) and the host Collegiate (Baton Rouge, LA), saw Albany's basketball squad hold off Collegiate by a tally of 2-0.
With the victory, Albany improves its record to 22-10 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 12. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 23-9. Parkview Baptist won 55-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Cohen (New Orleans, LA)
Next up, the confront the GEO Next Generation Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 16. Collegiate will attempt to improve on its 10-15 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 21-11 record after their 57-56 non-league win over St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA).
