February 9, 2024: Austin, TX 78737 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Central Texas Christian Lions (Temple, TX) and the host Austin Waldorf Roadrunners (Austin, TX), saw Central Texas Christian's basketball squad knock off Austin Waldorf by a tally of 51-42.
With the victory, Central Texas Christian improves its record to 4-18 on the campaign. The Lions host Reicher Catholic (Waco, TX) to play the Cougars in a TAPPS 3A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 24-7. Reicher Catholic won 92-50 in their recent league challenge against Holy Trinity Catholic (Temple, TX)
Next up, the Roadrunners play the Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Cedar Park, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 5 challenge, on Monday, February 12. Austin Waldorf will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-16 record after their 74-31 league loss to Bracken Christian (Bulverde, TX).
