Indiana High School Basketball - Avon holds off Franklin Central

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Avon Orioles (Avon, IN) and the host Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN), saw Avon's basketball squad hold off Franklin Central by a tally of 60-53.

With the victory, Avon improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Orioles host Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 19-0. Greenfield-Central won 62-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin County (Brookville, IN)

Next up, the Flashes confront the Cathedral Fighting Irish (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 10. Franklin Central will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 56-51 non-league loss to Fishers (Fishers, IN).
