New York High School Basketball - Ballston Spa knocked off by Columbia
February 9, 2024: East Greenbush, NY 12061 The Columbia Blue Devils basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Ballston Spa Scotties to 50 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Columbia will meet a Spartans team coming off a 53-47 non-league win over Gloversville (Gloversville, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 10-9.
The Scotties (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Stillwater (Stillwater, NY). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 19-1 record. In their last contest, Stillwater ran past Greenwich (Greenwich, NY), 79-62, in a league contest.
