New Jersey High School Basketball - Pioneer Academy nudges Beloved Community Charter
February 9, 2024: Wayne, NJ 07470 Pioneer Academy Eagles (Wayne, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Beloved Community Charter Owls (Jersey City, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pioneer Academy upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Eagles host Saddle River Day (Saddle River, NJ) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Saddle River Day won 73-57 in their recent non-league bout against Cliffside Park (Cliffside Park, NJ)
Next up, the Owls clash with the Marion P. Thomas (Newark, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 15. Beloved Community Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record. The go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 41-38 non-league win over Eagle Academy (Newark, NJ).
