February 9, 2024: Detroit, MI 48228 The Renaissance Phoenix (Detroit, MI) basketball crushed the host Cody Comets (Detroit, MI), 96-68 in Friday's non-league test.
The Phoenix (15-4) will now prepare for their test against King (Detroit, MI). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, King walloped Ford (Detroit, MI), 37-36, in a league test.
The Comets now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Center Line for a non-league test on Monday, February 12. Cody will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 66-41 non-league win over Lamphere (Madison Heights, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 15-3.
