February 9, 2024: Jennings, LA 70546 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. Louis Catholic Saints (Lake Charles, LA) and the host Jennings Bulldogs (Jennings, LA), saw St. Louis Catholic's basketball squad hold off Jennings by a count of 53-51.
With the victory, St. Louis Catholic upgrades its record to 16-9 on the campaign. The Saints host JS Clark Leadership Academy (Opelousas, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 21-7. JS Clark Leadership Academy won 55-50 in their recent league challenge against Lacassine (Lacassine, LA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Franklin Hornets (Franklin, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 14. Jennings will attempt to upgrade on its 21-11 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 18-7 record after their 59-37 league win over Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA).
