In Friday's non-league outing, the Marquette Catholic Blazers (Michigan City, IN) basketball squad edged the visiting River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), by a count of 60-53.

The Blazers (7-12) will now prepare for their outing against Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 12-7 record. In their last outing, Illiana Christian held off Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN), 71-40, in a league outing.
