Kentucky High School Basketball - Metcalfe County ripped by Somerset
February 9, 2024: Somerset, KY 42501 The Somerset Briar Jumpers basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets to 43 in the Briar Jumpers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Briar Jumpers now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison Southern for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Somerset will meet a Eagles team coming off a 72-54 non-league loss to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 13-8.
The Hornets (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Barren County (Glasgow, KY). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 15-9 record.
