West Virginia High School Basketball - Williamstown overwhelms Wahama
February 9, 2024: Mason, WV 25260 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Williamstown Yellowjackets (Williamstown, WV) and the host Wahama White Falcons (Mason, WV), saw Williamstown's basketball squad wallop Wahama by a tally of 73-38.
With the victory, Williamstown improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Belpre (Belpre, OH) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Belpre won 65-55 in their recent league challenge against Trimble (Glouster, OH)
Next up, the White Falcons play the Southern Tornadoes (Racine, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 10. Wahama will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 59-43 league loss to Federal Hocking (Stewart, OH).
