New Jersey High School Basketball - Kent Place thwarts Bard Early College
February 9, 2024: Summit, NJ 07901 The Kent Place Dragons (Summit, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Bard Early College Raptors (Newark, NJ), 39-28 in Friday's non-league test.
The Dragons (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Linden (Linden, NJ). The Tigers go into the Union County - Valley test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Linden went down by Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ), 51-45, in a non-league test.
The Raptors now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Belleville for a non-league test on Monday, February 12. Bard Early College will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 51-20 non-league loss to Rutherford (Rutherford, NJ). The Buccaneers record now stands at 14-4.
