February 9, 2024: Americus, GA 31709 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Warner Robins Demons (Warner Robins, GA) and the host Sumter County Panthers (Americus, GA), saw Warner Robins's soccer squad triumph over Sumter County by a count of 10-0.
The Demons now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Macon County for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. Warner Robins will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Bleckley County (Cochran, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Sumter County drops to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA) to meet the Purple Hurricane in a 2A Region 1 test on Wednesday, February 21. The Purple Hurricane come into the test with a record of 1-0.
