Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 62-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Toll Gate (Warwick, RI) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 1-16.

Next up, the Huskies play the Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 15. Mt. Hope will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 40-38 non-league win over Hope (Providence, RI).
