Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA), 10-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Southside advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Sharks host Erath (Erath, LA) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league match on Monday, February 16. The Bobcats come into the match with a record of 0-1.
