March 1, 2022: Merrill, MI 48637 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI) basketball squad edged the visiting St. Louis Sharks (St. Louis, MI), by a count of 58-57.
The Vandals (3-15) will now prepare for their outing against Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI). The Wolverines go into the Mid-State outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, Vestaburg held off Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 51-48, in a league outing.
The Sharks now hold a 3-16 record. They play next when they host Millington for a Tri-Valley - West outing on Thursday, March 3. St. Louis will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 48-34 non-league win over Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-10.
