In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Salem Quakers basketball team scored a tight 33-26 triumph over the Northwest Indians.

In their next game, the Quakers meet the Norton Panthers (Norton, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 4. Salem will attempt to better on its 20-4 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 22-5 record after their 36-31 non-league win over West Branch (Beloit, OH).

With the defeat, Northwest moves to 24-3 on the year.
