In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Durham Academy Cavaliers lacrosse squad scored a tight 18-13 victory over the Chapel Hill Tigers.
The Cavaliers now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mary's for a Freelance test on Friday, March 4.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC) in a DAC-VII/N. Lakes Athletic/Central/Mid-Carolina test, on Monday, March 7. Chapel Hill will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
