North Carolina High School Baseball - New Bern prevails North Lenoir
March 1, 2022: LaGrange, NC 28551 New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC), 13-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, New Bern upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Laney (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Friday, March 4. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Laney won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC)
With the defeat, North Lenoir falls to 0-1 on the season. The Hawks host Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC) to battle the Stallions in a test on Tuesday, March 15. The Stallions come into the test with a record of 1-1.
