Florida High School Softball - Cottondale holds off Chipley
March 1, 2022: Cottondale, FL 32431 Cottondale Hornets (Cottondale, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Chipley Tigers (Chipley, FL), 9-7 in a league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Graceville for a challenge on Friday, March 4. Cottondale will face a Tigers squad coming off a 13-7 league loss to Cottondale (Cottondale, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Chipley falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Malone (Malone, FL) to face the Tigers in a challenge on Friday, March 11. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
