Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Central Valley Hawks (Ceres, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Ripon upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Indians host Mountain House (Mountain House, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Friday, March 3. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Central Valley falls to 0-1 on the season. The Hawks host Ceres (Ceres, CA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, March 3. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-3. Ceres lost 8-2 in their recent non-league match against East Union (Manteca, CA)
