March 1, 2023: Waxhaw, NC 28173 The Providence Panthers baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks to 4 in the Panthers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars go into the Southwestern 4A match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Charlotte Catholic tipped Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC), 6-5, in a non-league match.
The Mavericks (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Carson (China Grove, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Carson was overwhelmed by Davie (Mocksville, NC), 6-1, in a non-league match.
