Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Warrensville Heights Tigers (Warrensville, OH), 69-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chippewa upgrades its record to 23-4 on the season. The Chipps travel to Laurel (Shaker Heights, OH) to play the Gators in a non-league game on Saturday, March 4. The Gators enter the game with a record of 18-6. Laurel won 53-41 in their recent non-league game against Garfield (Garrettsville, OH)

With the defeat, Warrensville Heights moves to 22-3 on the year.
