March 1, 2023: Granite Bay, CA 95746 Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Bruins now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodcreek for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3.
With the loss, Granite Bay falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Roseville (Roseville, CA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
