Texas High School Baseball - Hays sneaks past Clark
March 1, 2024: Buda, TX 78610 Spectators at Friday's non-league game between the Hays Hawks (Buda, TX) and the visiting Clark Cougars (San Antonio, TX), witnessed Hays's baseball team get by Clark by a score of 6-5.
The Hawks (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Royals go into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Richland was nipped by Pioneer (Mission, TX), 13-2, in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now possess a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Veterans Memorial for a non-league game on Saturday, March 2. Clark will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 3-5.
