Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sharyland upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Rattlers travel to Sinton (Sinton, TX) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Saturday, March 2. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 5-0. Sinton won 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX)
