Arkansas High School Softball - Forrest City nudges Pine Bluff
March 1, 2024: Forrest City, AR 72335 Forrest City Mustangs (Forrest City, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pine Bluff Zebras (Pine Bluff, AR), 34-33 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 4. Forrest City will face a Tigers squad coming off a 21-19 non-league win over Robinson (Little Rock, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Pine Bluff falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Zebras travel to El Dorado (El Dorado, AR) to face the Wildcats in a 5A South challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
