Palmer Bulldogs (Palmer, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Italy Gladiators (Italy, TX), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Granbury for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. Palmer will face a Pirates squad coming off a 15-7 non-league loss to Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 3-6.
