March 1, 2025: Covington, LA 70433 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Covington Lions (Covington, LA) and the visiting Berwick Panthers (Berwick, LA), saw Covington's baseball team beat Berwick by a margin of 6-1.
The Lions (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Jaguars enter the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Pope John Paul II was overwhelmed by Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA), 12-4, in a non-league battle.
