The Desert Oasis Diamondbacks baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Liberty Patriots to 5 in the Diamondbacks non-league win on Saturday.

The Diamondbacks now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Las Vegas for a 5A South - Desert test on Wednesday, March 5. Desert Oasis will play a Wildcats team coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Liberty drops to 4-1 on the year. The Patriots travel to Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Crusaders in a 5A South - Mountain test on Wednesday, March 5. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 0-5. Faith Lutheran lost 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX)
