March 1, 2025: Senatobia, MS 38668 The Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA) baseball got by the host Magnolia Heights Chiefs (Senatobia, MS), 1-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Monarchs now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Gorman for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 8. Mater Dei will clash with a Gaels team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Basic (Henderson, NV). The Gaels record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Magnolia Heights drops to 6-1 on the year. The Chiefs host Lee Academy (Clarksdale, MS) to clash with the Colts in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 3. The Colts go into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Lee Academy lost 15-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington (Greenville, MS)
