March 1, 2025: Hawthorne, CA 90250 Katella Knights (Anaheim, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Katella improves its record to 1-7 on the season. The Knights travel to El Toro (Lake Forest, CA) to face the Chargers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 3-4. El Toro lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Portola (Irvine, CA)
The Cougars now own a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Magnolia for a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. Hawthorne will face a Sentinels squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Cerritos (Cerritos, CA). The Sentinels record now stands at 1-4.
