California High School Baseball - Capistrano Valley nips Mater Dei
March 1, 2025: Mission Viejo, CA 92692 In Saturday's non-league game, the host Capistrano Valley Cougars baseball team scored a close 6-5 win over the Mater Dei Monarchs.
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Portola (Irvine, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Portola was tipped by Katella (Anaheim, CA), 18-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Monarchs play the La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 4. Mater Dei will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
