California High School Baseball - Port of Los Angeles loses to Marquez
March 1, 2025: San Pedro, CA 90731 Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears (San Pedro, CA), 12-8 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Marquez moves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Gladiators host Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, March 3. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 1-0. Eagle Rock won 14-7 in their recent non-league match against Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA)
The Polar Bears now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santee for a non-league match on Friday, March 7. Port of Los Angeles will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Contreras (Los Angeles, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.
