Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA), 6-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Ascension Catholic improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA) to face the Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 4. The Knights enter the game with a record of 2-2. Slaughter Community Charter won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville (Plaucheville, LA)
