DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Petal Panthers (Petal, MS), 7-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, DeSoto Central improves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Jaguars travel to South Panola (Batesville, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 5. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 9-1. South Panola won 19-0 in their recent league game against Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS)
