In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Ford Panthers softball team scored a nice 16-0 victory over the Samuell Spartans.

The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Farmersville (Farmersville, TX). The Farmers go into the 4A Region II District 13 match with a 6-9 record. In their last match, Farmersville was routed by Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX), 18-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Spruce Timberwolves (Dallas, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 4. Samuell will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Timberwolves go into the match with a 0-4 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Life Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX).
