With the triumph, Grand Lake improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Hornets travel to DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA) to face the Tigers in a 2A District 5 contest on Thursday, March 6. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 4-4. DeQuincy lost 21-9 in their recent non-league contest against South Beauregard (Longville, LA)
The Eagles now hold a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pine Prairie for a non-league contest on Monday, March 3. Rosepine will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Acadiana (Lafayette, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-2.
