Louisiana High School Softball - Vinton topped by Kinder
March 1, 2025: Vinton, LA 70668 Kinder Yellowjackets (Kinder, LA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Vinton Lions (Vinton, LA), 16-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Kinder upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Yellowjackets host St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA) to play the Saints in a 3A District 3 game on Tuesday, March 11. The Saints enter the game with a record of 3-2.
The Lions now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Washington-Marion for a non-league game on Monday, March 3. Vinton will play a Charging Indians squad coming off a 13-9 non-league loss to Midland (Midland, LA). The Charging Indians record now stands at 0-2.
