Next, the Vikings meet the Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 1. Lamar will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a 5-6 record after their 11-11 non-league Spring Hill (Longview, TX).
