March 1, 2025: Corpus Christi, TX 78415 In Saturday's non-league test, the Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX) softball squad got by the host London Pirates (Corpus Christi, TX), by a tally of 9-8.
Next, the Chaparrals clash with the Akins Eagles (Austin, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 26 test, on Tuesday, March 4. Westlake will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 4-4 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Churchill (San Antonio, TX).
The Pirates (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX). The Warriors & Cherokees go into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Tuloso-Midway held off Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX), 13-2, in a non-league test.
