March 1, 2026: Branchville, SC 29432 In Sunday's non-league bout, the Colleton County Cougars (Walterboro, SC) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Branchville Yellow Jackets (Branchville, SC), by a count of 15-1.
The Cougars now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarendon Hall for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 3. Colleton County will clash with a Saints team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Lowcountry Leadership (Hollywood, SC). The Saints record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Branchville drops to 0-3 on the year. The Yellow jackets travel to Barnwell (Barnwell, SC) to clash with the Warhorses in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 2. The Warhorses go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Barnwell won 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against St. John's (John's Island, SC)
