Utah High School Soccer - Cyprus held off by Roy
March 10, 2021: Roy, UT 84067 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Roy Royals (Roy, UT) and the visiting Cyprus Pirates (Magna, UT), saw Roy's soccer squad get by Cyprus by a margin of 1-0.
The Royals now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Davis for a 6A Region 1 test on Tuesday, March 16. Roy will meet a Darts squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Viewmont (Bountiful, UT). The Darts record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Cyprus drops to 1-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to West (Salt Lake City, UT) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, March 12. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-0. West won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Kearns (Kearns, UT)
