Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), 8-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Rio Rancho upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, March 11.
