California High School Softball - El Monte bounces San Gabriel
March 10, 2022: San Gabriel, CA 91776 El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host San Gabriel Matadors (San Gabriel, CA), 13-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain View for a challenge on Wednesday, March 16. El Monte will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 17-12 non-league loss to San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, San Gabriel falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Matadors host Mark Keppel (Alhambra, CA) to battle the Aztecs in a challenge on Tuesday, March 15.
