Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX), witnessed Pieper's softball squad tip Alamo Heights by a count of 8-1.

The Warriors now sport a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Floresville for a non-league match on Saturday, March 12.

With the loss, Alamo Heights moves to 2-15 on the season. The Mules host Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 5A Region IV District 26 match on Friday, March 11.
