California High School Softball - Foothill can't get by Sunny Hills

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Sunny Hills Lancers (Fullerton, CA) softball team held off the visiting Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA), by a margin of 5-4.

With the triumph, Sunny Hills moves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Lancers travel to Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 15. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 4-3. Yorba Linda won 5-2 in their recent non-league contest against Royal (Simi Valley, CA)

In their next game, the Knights play the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) in a Crestview contest, on Tuesday, March 22. Foothill will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record.
