Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Enka Jets (Enka, NC), 10-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Kings Mountain upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Mountaineers host Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC) to battle the Greenwave in a Big South 3A test on Tuesday, March 14. The Greenwave come into the test with a record of 0-4. Ashbrook lost 13-2 in their recent non-league test against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC)

With the defeat, Enka falls to 1-3 on the season. The Jets travel to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC) to battle the Rockets in a The Mountain 3A/4A test on Tuesday, March 14. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 4-0. A.C. Reynolds won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC)
