The Spring Creek Spartans baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Hug Hawks to 2 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.

The Spartans (2-5) will now prepare for their match against South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Vikings go into the 3A North - West match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, South Tahoe was overwhelmed by Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 10-3, in a non-league match.
