The Bishop Walsh Spartans basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Catholic Crusaders to 55 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 11-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bullis for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 11. Bishop Walsh will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 74-42 non-league win over Goretti (Hagerstown, MD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 26-4.

The Crusaders (34-5) will now prepare for their contest against Goretti (Hagerstown, MD). The Gael enter the non-league contest with a 25-8 record. In their last contest, Goretti was defeated by Bullis (Potomac, MD), 74-42, in a non-league match.
